In a little seaside village lived Mia and her older brother Luc. They were inseparable and loved playing, but sometimes they argued and hurt each other. Luc wanted to build big, strong sandcastles; Mia preferred collecting shells and drawing in the sand. Because each wanted to choose the game, they ended up cross.

One night, as Mia lay in bed, a magical mouse called Biel appeared. He said he had heard her wishes and wanted to help her find peace with her brother.

Mia smiled and asked how. Biel explained that three magical objects were hidden around the village. Finding them would help her prepare a spell of peace and harmony.

She eagerly agreed. She wanted to get along better with Luc and understood that they needed a way to appreciate their different interests.

First she had to find the shell of peace, hidden in a corner of the beach. She searched the sand and peered between rocks until she discovered a softly glowing shell. Carefully, she picked it up.

Next came the star of harmony, which shone only one night a year. Following Biel’s directions, she watched the sky from the beach. On that special night, the star lit her path and dropped a tiny magical spark into her hand.

Her final task was to meet the squid of understanding, who lived beneath the sea. Biel wrapped Mia in a magical bubble that let her breathe and accompanied her underwater.

In the depths, they found the little glowing squid. Mia explained her wish, and he gave them a spark of his light. They left him in his home and returned to shore with the three gifts.

Luc was waiting at home, full of curiosity. Mia told him what had happened and why she wanted them to stop arguing. As she spoke the spell, a gentle light filled the room.

The children looked at each other and wanted to listen. Luc explained how much he loved castles, and Mia talked about her shells. They discovered that they could build a castle together and decorate it with beach treasures.

They hugged and promised to use words to ask for things, respect one another and seek help whenever they could not agree.

Biel smiled from a corner. The real magic lay in understanding. From then on, Mia and Luc kept playing together and learning to settle their differences with kindness.
