In a village surrounded by mountains and clear rivers stood a very special school. It had an enchanted garden where every plant and animal had a story to tell. Among its pupils was Lina, a cheerful, curious girl who had just arrived.

Lina used a wheelchair. At first she felt a little out of place because everything was new: her classmates, the classrooms and the garden she had heard so many wonderful things about.

One day during break time, she decided to explore it. Soon she found that some paths were too narrow and steps stopped her reaching several corners. There was nothing missing from her curiosity: the garden needed changes so she could explore it too.

Just as she began to feel sad, a gentle voice caught her attention. It belonged to Nora, a very talkative butterfly watching from above.

“Hello, Lina! Is there somewhere you would like to go that you can’t reach?”

Lina nodded and explained what she had found. Together they began thinking about how to make the garden accessible to everyone. From the air, Nora could see routes Lina had not discovered and guided her to magical corners she could reach.

A garden where everyone can play

As they explored, they met Oliver, a squirrel who worked as the garden’s architect. They shared their ideas and he listened carefully. Excited by their plans, he began designing paths and play areas that considered different needs.

News spread around the school and soon the other pupils joined in. With help from adults and following Oliver’s plans, they prepared ramps, widened paths and adapted the play spaces so everyone could share them.

Thanks to Lina and her friends, the school learnt a lesson about inclusion: if everyone is to take part, we must listen to people who face barriers and change the surroundings when needed.

The garden became a place where children could explore, play and learn together. Lina began to feel part of the group, and her suggestions helped other classmates enjoy the space more too.

From then on, they shared many adventures among the flowers and trees. They always remembered that the real magic lay in sharing, welcoming differences and making sure nobody was left out.
