In a little village surrounded by woods and rivers lived Sami, a cheerful, curious boy with fair hair and bright eyes. He loved exploring nearby and playing with his friends.
One day, he found an old wooden box hidden among the trees. Intrigued, he opened it and discovered maps and faded notes. His eyes shone with excitement: perhaps they pointed to lost treasure.
He gathered his friends Joana, Pol and Laia. They were all different, but they cared about one another and were always ready to help.
With maps and compasses, they began their search. They crossed the forest, passed rivers and tackled obstacles with determination. Whenever things became difficult, they stayed together and encouraged each other.
One challenge was a river that seemed impossible to cross. With no bridge nearby, they had to think together. Joana suggested a raft of logs and rope, and Pol helped gather fallen wood. With help from the adults accompanying them, they prepared a raft and crossed a calm stretch of water.
Later they reached a dark cave. Laia was frightened, but her friends stayed beside her and reminded her that they could take their time. With torches shining, they entered carefully until they found the treasure.
As soon as they touched it, they heard a strange noise. The cave was enchanted, and they had woken its guardian: an enormous dragon! Everyone trembled, but Sami remembered a magical sword among the objects, one that could calm the creature.
He held it without attacking. “It won’t hurt us if we help it go back to sleep!” he said. Seeing the sword’s glow, the dragon grew peaceful, returned to its nest and closed its eyes.
With the treasure found and the guardian sleeping, the friends returned to the village. They told their story and explained how friendship, cooperation and trust had helped them.
From that day, everyone remembered their journey. Their friendship grew stronger, and at bedtime Sami smiled, knowing they could always count on one another in the adventures ahead.
