In a cheerful, colorful little village, nestled among wheat fields and blossoming trees, lived a tiny little mouse named Xinxeta. She was small, with curled whiskers and bright, lively little eyes.
One fine day, while strolling near the village market, she overheard some farmers saying:
“Did you know there’s a magic cheese hidden in the old barn? It’s called the Cheese of Wisdom, and whoever eats it will become incredibly intelligent!”
Upon hearing this, Xinxeta jumped for joy.
“If I can get my paws on that cheese, I’ll be the smartest little mouse in the entire forest!” she thought.
But the path to the barn was far from easy. To reach it, she would have to cross the meadow of sleepy cats, pass over the bridge of nosy crows, and dodge the greedy mice who also wanted a piece.
Determined, Xinxeta set off on her adventure.
First, she tiptoed across the meadow of sleepy cats. Everything was going well until a leaf crunched beneath her tiny paw… Meow! One of the cats opened an eye. But Xinxeta, being clever, rolled up like a ball and hid behind a mushroom.
Next, she arrived at the bridge of the nosy crows.
“Where are you off to, little mouse?” they asked in deep, gravelly voices.
“I’m going to find the magic cheese!” she replied.
The crows, chuckling, said to her:
“The wisest one isn’t the one who has the most cheese, but the one who knows how to share it.”
Xinxeta didn’t quite grasp the meaning of their words, but she continued on her way. When she finally reached the old barn, she found the Cheese of Wisdom. It smelled delicious! But just as she was about to take a bite… she saw many other hungry mice who had also made the journey.
Xinxeta remembered the crows’ words, and instead of eating the cheese all by herself, she decided to share it with the others.
And do you know what happened? They all discovered that true wisdom wasn’t about eating the magic cheese—it was about helping others and making friends along the way!
From that day on, Xinxeta no longer wanted to be the smartest; she wanted to be the most generous and the happiest.
