Once upon a time, in a faraway jungle, lived a monkey called Mico. He shared a beautiful clearing with his mother and his brothers and sisters, surrounded by tall trees and flowers of every colour. Mico was curious and brave, always exploring new places and making new friends.
One day, while playing near the river, he met an old trader selling magical seeds. The trader told Mico the seeds could grow all the way to the sky and take him to a place full of treasures. Excited, Mico traded some fruit for a seed and hurried home to plant it.
At first, his mother worried that he was wasting his time with fantastic stories. But Mico was determined to show her otherwise. They planted the seed together, and the next morning an enormous beanstalk had grown into the sky.
Mico decided he had to explore it. His mother was worried, but when she saw the determination in his eyes, she sent him off with a hug. Mico climbed higher and higher until he reached a land among the clouds.
There he found a huge castle where a giant lived. Although he felt a little afraid, Mico decided to be brave and explore. He saw many wonderful things, but what caught his attention most was a cage with a little mouse trapped inside. Although Mico was afraid of mice, he felt sorry for the tiny creature.
Mico opened the cage and set the mouse free. Very grateful, the mouse introduced himself as Rati. He explained that the giant had captured him and used him to frighten other animals. Mico felt terribly sorry for Rati and decided to help him escape.
The two new friends ran towards the beanstalk, but the giant spotted them. Showing great courage, Mico decided to distract him. He used his wonderful agility to leap onto the giant, confusing him and giving Rati time to escape first.
At last, Mico and Rati reached the beanstalk and climbed down quickly. Back on the ground, Mico told his mother and his brothers and sisters everything that had happened. Proud of her son’s bravery and friendship, his mother hugged him tightly.
From that day on, Mico and Rati were the best of friends. Mico learned that being brave also meant helping others and loving your family. Life in the jungle was happier than ever, with his family and his new friend beside him.
And that is where our story ends.
