In a peaceful forest full of tall trees and clear rivers lived many different animals. Among them were Lluc, a little hedgehog, and Lina, a very fast hare. They had been friends for a long time and always cared for each other, despite their differences.

One day, the Great Forest Council announced an adventure for everyone: a journey across the mountains to a secret meadow full of flowers that shone like stars. To reach it, they would need to follow difficult paths and cross fast rivers. Everyone felt excited and nervous, but wanted to take part.

“It will be a challenge!” Lluc said, his eyes shining, although he knew he could not run as quickly as the others.

“Don’t worry! We’ll do it together!” Lina replied with a smile, giving him a gentle pat.

That morning, they set off with Pau, a bird with a broken wing; Tuga, a turtle who moved slowly but steadily; and Max, a big, strong bear who sometimes felt frightened by unfamiliar situations.

Their first challenge was a fast-flowing river. Lina easily leapt from rock to rock, but Lluc, with his little legs, did not know how to cross without falling. He felt both frightened and embarrassed.

“I can’t do it,” he said sadly, staring at the water in despair.

Max came over and spoke calmly.

“Don’t worry. Climb onto my back, and I’ll carry you across.”

Lluc climbed up, grateful that his friend offered help without teasing him for being less agile. Together, they crossed the river.

Further on, they reached a dense wood. The trees grew so close together that it was hard to find the way. Smaller animals such as Lluc and Tuga struggled to move through, while Lina could leap between the clearings easily.

But Pau began to tremble. With his injured wing, he could not fly like the other birds, and he felt sad and frustrated.

“Perhaps I’m slowing everyone down,” he said quietly.

“Don’t say that!” Tuga replied with a smile. “I move slowly too. What matters is going together.”

They decided to slow down so no friend would be left behind. As they realised that everyone had something that made them unique, helping one another became natural. Whenever someone felt sad or frustrated, another friend offered a hand or a paw.

After many adventures and challenges, they finally reached the secret meadow. Flowers shone in the sunshine and danced in the gentle wind. Tired but happy, the animals sat in a circle to admire them.

“We did it!” Lluc called, grinning from ear to ear.

Lina hugged him, and everyone joined in. They felt great happiness and pride, because each had contributed in a different way. Walking slowly or needing help did not matter: their strength came from staying together and supporting one another.

Max looked at them and said softly:

“I love this adventure, but most of all I love how we’ve helped each other, with all our differences. That’s what makes us a good team.”

Beneath the blue sky, surrounded by shining flowers, they enjoyed a peaceful moment. Their friendship and shared feelings made them stronger. Looking at Lina, Pau, Tuga and Max, Lluc remembered how uncertain he had felt at the start. Now he knew that friendship and understanding could help him overcome the obstacles ahead.
