Once upon a time, a boy called Adrià lived in a small coastal village. He loved football more than anything and dreamed of becoming a professional player like his heroes. His older brother Marc always encouraged him and played with him on the field behind their house.

One day, during an exciting match, a strange light filled the sky. Suddenly two unusual beings appeared, wearing shimmering robes in bright colours. They were messengers from an intergalactic football federation, and they had come to invite Adrià to a very special event: the Intergalactic Football Tournament.

Once he had recovered from his surprise, Adrià accepted eagerly. He and Marc were transported to Zaltron, the distant planet hosting the competition. Gravity there was half as strong as on Earth, so players could leap much higher and perform spectacular moves in the air.

Teams had come from all across the galaxy, each with its own special qualities. One team consisted of jelly-like creatures that could change shape. Another was made up of lightning-fast robots. There was even a team of plant beings that communicated through their roots.

Adrià and Marc had to adapt quickly to new rules. The pitches changed shape, and the goals moved in unpredictable directions. Every match was a challenge and a chance to learn and invent new ways to play.

As the tournament continued, Adrià began to understand the importance of cooperation and respect between different cultures. Winning mattered less than learning from the other teams and seeing how everyone helped make the game richer.

The tournament ended with a grand final. By helping each other and using everything they had learnt, the brothers achieved an exciting draw against the previous tournament’s champions. Although they did not win the title, they were welcomed as heroes when they returned to Earth.

At home, Adrià told his father about their adventures. His father was so inspired that he suggested designing a new stadium for their town using some of Zaltron’s innovations. Adrià, meanwhile, understood that football was more than a game. It was a way to connect with beings across the universe through diversity, respect and friendship.
