A very special dragon lived in a small village. He was neither fierce nor frightening. He was kind, cheerful and always eager to help. One day, he decided to surprise his friends with a giant cake made with chocolate, strawberries and cream.

At first everything seemed to be going well, but then the eggs slipped through his claws, flour covered the kitchen and the cream overflowed until the dragon was splattered from head to tail. He felt frustrated and sad.

“I only wanted to make something lovely for my friends!” he sighed, sending out a tiny flame.

Just then, his friend Hedgehog passed by. “What’s wrong?” he asked.

“The cake isn’t turning out as I hoped. I’m angry… and a little sad too,” the dragon admitted.

Hedgehog placed a paw on his shoulder. “It is normal to feel that way when something important is difficult. You can ask for help. Mistakes also give us a chance to learn and laugh.”

The dragon accepted his help. They mixed the ingredients slowly, laughed about their small mishaps and finished the cake together.

When their friends arrived, everyone was amazed. The dragon understood that emotions are like the ingredients in a recipe: some are sweet and some are strong, but all of them tell us something. With patience, friendship and the courage to accept his feelings, he had overcome the problem.
