Genís was a very curious boy. Every night, he loved looking at the stars through his bedroom window. One evening, while watching the sky with his telescope, he saw a bright light streak across it and fall into the forest behind his house. Intrigued, he decided to investigate.
With a torch in his hand, Genís walked into the forest. Where the light had fallen, he found a small spaceship made of shining metal, unlike anything he had seen before. Beside it stood a little blue creature with large, bright eyes and a friendly smile.
“Hello!” the creature said softly. “My name is Zort. I’m from the planet Zircon, and I came to explore Earth, but my spaceship has broken down. Can you help?”
Excited to meet an alien, Genís nodded at once.
“Of course! But… how can I help you?” he asked, his heart beating fast.
“I need something special that only exists on your planet: a magical stone called Earth’s Light. It’s the only way to repair my ship.”
Genís accepted the challenge. Together, they began a great forest adventure in search of the mysterious stone. Friendly animals helped them along the way, including a wise owl who knew where magical stones could be found and a quick squirrel who led them along hidden paths.
After a long search, they reached a secret cave. Inside shone Earth’s Light, a beautiful stone that glowed like the stars.
“We did it!” Zort said joyfully.
Carrying the stone, they returned to the spaceship. Zort used its energy to repair the engine. The ship began to shine and make strange sounds as it prepared to return to space.
“Thank you, Genís. You’re a wonderful friend. I’ll never forget your help. If you look up and see a bright light in the sky, that will be me waving from my planet.”
Genís smiled, feeling happy and sad at the same time.
“I won’t forget you either, Zort.”
The spaceship took off, leaving a shining trail across the night sky. Genís went home thinking about his incredible adventure. From then on, he watched the stars every night, knowing that somewhere in space, his friend Zort was looking towards Earth too.
