In a distant corner of the savanna lived a little lion cub named Lluc. Although he was playful and curious, he would always compare himself to other animals, feeling that he wasn’t special enough.

One day, while wandering through the savanna, he saw a gazelle leaping with elegance. “Oh, how wonderful it would be to jump so high!” he sighed. Later, he came across an elephant lifting giant logs with its trunk. “I wish I were as strong as that,” he thought.

And so, little Lluc decided to try to be like the others. He attempted to leap like the gazelle, but landed flat on his belly. He tried to lift logs like the elephant, but he lacked the necessary strength. Disappointed, he approached a river and saw his own reflection shimmering in the water.

“Why can’t I be like the others?” he murmured sadly.

A wise turtle passing by heard him and smiled. “Lluc, every animal has a special gift. Look closely at yourself: you have a magnificent mane, a powerful voice, and you are brave. You don’t need to be like anyone else; you simply need to discover what makes you unique.”

The little lion cub pondered the turtle’s words and realized she was right. In time, he learned to roar loudly, run with great speed, and lead his friends on adventures across the savanna. He understood that he didn’t need to be like the others to be special—he just had to learn to love himself exactly as he was. From that day on, Lluc was happier than ever, because he discovered that his worth did not depend on being like others, but rather on being himself.
